The Geothermal HVAC system in this home uses the earths ambient temperature to heat and cool the home without exposing families or the environment to carbon-monoxide poison .
The craw-space in this home is non-vented, it has a vapor barrier to reduce mold and mildew which also keeps down the bugs and insects.
The HVAC system heats and cools the craw-space so that moisture is managed, it also increases energy efficiency in the home and keeps the hardwood floor from being cool in the morning.
As the HVAC system cool the home it also use the heat it pull out of the home to heat 50 to 30 percent of the water in the home.
The frame has a open design that is inviting and makes the home more livable, it also adds to the HVAC's system ability to move the air in the home.
The home has a vapor barrier which also increases the homes ability to retain the conditioned air inside.
All of the exiting plumbing and wiring along with the window have been sealed to retain the conditioned air inside.
The insulation in this home is recycled newspaper which is blown in wet and it fill the entire wall cavity to retain the conditioned air inside.
The lighting is custom and durable, we also have an extended light system installed in the living room, hall, kitchen and hall bath. This system light these areas with about 40 percent of the standard lighting after the power is turned off.
The appliances in the home are energy efficient they are stainless steel and black to match the decor.
This home was built on a hold home conceptual design to show how a home can be healthy for families to live in and for the environment at large.
